Kebra is an event that empowers marginalized artists and athletes, promoting hip-hop culture as a tool for social transformation and supporting athletes who are competing for a spot in the 2024 Olympics.

Carlos, a resident of Rocinha Favela, Latin America's largest favela, launched a surfing project to empower at-risk youth. Inspired by how surfing opened his eyes to the world, he sought to provide similar opportunities to Rocinha's youth.

Saryne started a ballet project called "Bale da Rale" because, as she puts it, "dance saved my life, and when dance saves your life, you pay it forward."

Grupo Favela DOC

Meet SEJA Leader Samuel from Rio de Janeiro. Grupo Favela is a contemporary dance company in Complexo do Alemão, a group of favelas in North Rio. They challenge stereotypes about favelas and their residents, offering equal opportunities to all dancers. Their goal is to show the true potential of people from the favela and make a mark in a world often dominated by wealthy individuals.
