The SEJA story embodies the dynamic journey

SEJA was not born from well laid plans rather from action. Founded in 2018 we had the intention of building a project that supported grassroots community leaders in Brazil’s favelas. That idea went on a journey of its own, enhanced through the addition of new team members and stakeholders to where we are today, working with three specific impact pillars in three cities and two countries.
To be young is to be free. Free to play, explore, learn, and become whoever and whatever we want to be. The challenges of our environment can cloud over the path to our potential, casting a shadow on our future.

BUT ALL IT TAKES IS ONE PERSON, A SINGLE ROLE MODEL TO LEAD THE WAY.

Because when we start finding our direction, we can help other generations do the same, we can begin progression along our paths, as a community and a movement.

At SEJA, we support local leaders, from dancers to teachers, artists to footballers, to create real change for this generation and the next. Through local projects that build confidence we help inspire people to take the first step on a brighter path.
